Friendly, down-to-earth support in Knutsford, Alderley Edge, Wilmslow and online.
Therapy can be tough, but you don’t have to face it alone. We’ll work side-by-side to build trust, explore what matters to you, and create lasting change.
I believe that the relationship between client and therapist is at the heart of meaningful, lasting change. That’s why feeling safe, understood, and like we’re a good fit really matters — it’s the foundation for any work we’ll do together.
Before training in this field, I had a career in management, became a mum to three (now grown-up) children, and spent many years as an expat, living and working in six different countries. Those years gave me a deep understanding of identity, resilience, and how both challenging and transformative life changes can be.
My interest in coaching started with my own experience as a client — I found it motivating, supportive, and thought-provoking. It gave me direction while still leaving space for autonomy and accountability. I wanted to be able to offer that to others.
My journey into counselling began during the 2020 lockdown, when I volunteered as an NHS Responder. Speaking to people from all over the UK, I realised that what many really needed was to feel heard, validated, and understood. That experience sparked a calling — and I began my professional training soon after.
I was fortunate to volunteer and work with clients from Manchester Women’s Aid, with teachers from a school in Yorkshire and Stable Minds CIC in Knutsford.
Now, I offer both counselling and coaching (or a blend of the two) depending on what feels most helpful for you.
I’m passionate about learning and committed to ongoing professional development – because I believe we’re all a work in progress, and that’s something to embrace.
Counselling offers you a safe, confidential space to explore whatever’s going on in your life — without judgement, pressure, or expectations.
Life can be complicated, overwhelming, or sometimes just plain hard. You might feel stuck, anxious, low in confidence, or unsure of how to move forward. Counselling gives you the time and support to make sense of your thoughts and feelings, understand yourself more fully, and start to notice patterns that may be holding you back.
As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of approaches to suit you as a unique person — rather than expecting you to fit into one ‘type’ of therapy. Some sessions may feel reflective, others more practical, and sometimes they may be gently challenging — all at your pace, and led by what you need in the moment.
Over time, counselling can help you feel clearer, lighter, more confident, and more connected to yourself. It can be a powerful space for healing, growth, and finding your way forward.
Whether you already know what you want but need support and motivation to get there, or you’re still figuring out what truly matters to you, coaching can help.
As your coach, I’ll work with you in the way that suits you best—whether that’s gentle challenge, a bit of tough love, or steady, supportive encouragement. My approach is flexible because you’re unique, and your journey should be too.
I’ve worked with clients who are changing careers, creating a new life after a breakup, divorce, or bereavement, and those who feel they’re simply drifting—life is “fine,” but lacking excitement or fulfilment.
Sometimes the biggest shift starts with the smallest step. Together, we’ll explore your options, uncover what inspires you, and design a future that feels meaningful and exciting. It might be challenging, it might be a little scary—but it can also be deeply motivating, empowering, and yes, even fun.
Sessions are £95 for a full hour.
I also offer a free 30 - minute introductory call—just a relaxed chat so we can talk about what you’re hoping to get from counselling or coaching, and see if we’re a good match to work together.
Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions about how counselling or coaching works, or if you would like to arrange an appointment.
This gives us a chance to explore the reasons you're considering therapy, whether it might be helpful for you, and whether I’m the right therapist or coach to support you.
All enquiries are treated confidentially and are usually responded to within 24 hours.
